So that's what a real turkey looks like; not like one of those huge butterballs a la Safeway.

Gee, before we know it our little princess will be all over the appartement.
Well, it's actually a pheasant - close enough. A whole turkey is quite a rarity here in Paris. I think they consider it insane exuberance to roast and eat as big of a bird as a turkey.
Maia,Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. I have the least intention to be a show off, but we used to have a pheasant for dinner almost every Sunday in our beautiful city- Wroclaw. I hope you still have the memory of it. mama
