Marrakech

I haven't shied away from photographing cars in Paris - so why start with Marrakech?
This is the famous Jemaa el Fna square, visited on one side by quality taxis. Just the way everyone arrives into town.
The cops cleaned up the town, and you aren't pestered by bums and snake charmers like the guide books claim.
Just sunshine and the sounds of music great you in modern Marrakech.

Being too shy to photograph the traditional Moroccan on the street, and also too overcome with the sights and sounds of the
city, I got my next photo on the way out to le jardin Majorelle as we passed an old-school horse buggy. In the distance you can see the
snow-covered High Atlas mountains. Weather, undeniably perfect.

Dinner time, and Ila is reasonably excited. The couscous we had in this restaurant was better than any of us ever had, and probably better than we will ever have again. Hmmm - can't remember if Ila had already partaken of the couscous at the time of this photo.

Brandon and Rio stroll back to the Riad des Arts after a first day in town. Rio is probably explaining the history of the world, and how to get by.
